We give new life to gorgeous clothing, renting dresses to women who value sustainability, owned by women who value designer fashion.
Our dresses are stocked by local women, renting the dresses they no longer wear but don’t want to part with forever. We keep fashion in circulation, while paying our local lenders commission every time their dresses rent.

We offer personal styling appointments at our Leeds showroom, 43 Park Place.
Appointments run for 45-60 minutes, with a curated selection of dresses chosen specifically on your preferences.

Our in-store personal shopping appointments require a £25 deposit fee upon booking, redeemable against a rental purchase.
We recommend bringing heels or a selection of shoes that you plan to wear to your event to try on with the dresses.

Once you’re happy with your outfit, if you’re collecting the same day we will take 100% of the cost up-front. If you’re reserving for another collection date, we will take a 50% non-refundable deposit, and the remaining 50% upon collection.

You have until 5pm on your return date to bring the item back to store, however collections can be made available in advance for a fee to be determined at time of request (to take into account location for collection).
There are no further payments needed upon return, unless there are damages to any items that need to be repaired.

LEED’S FIRST FASHION RENTALS
We launched Leeds’ first in-store rental fashion experience at sustainable fashion and lifestyle store, Tråd Collective, in September 2024.
Almost 2 years on, we’re now based in our second showroom at 43 Park Place, LS1 2RY.

Your wardrobe is an asset when you rent it out a hundred times, as opposed to selling it once and for a fraction of what you paid for it. We rent out your clothes and accessories for you, so that you get paid without having to even think about. We take care of rentals, dry cleaning, logistics and maintenance.

Hi, I’m Chloé
I first had the idea for Fling back in March 2024, when I had fallen in love with an online rental dress for an abroad wedding. The dress was going to cost me a lot of money that wasn’t guaranteed to be refunded if it didn’t fit, and it wasn’t a dress I could try on for size on the high street before ordering…
I realised that there should be a way to rent fashion in real-life, just like you can go and shop on the high street, but with the ability to return it when you’ve worn it. The idea for Fling sparked in me and I spent the summer of 2024 building the business model and securing our first concession rail in Leeds’ sustainable fashion and homeware store, Tråd Collective.
Since launching, we’ve had an amazing response about how much an in-store fashion rental service is needed in Leeds, and I’m so proud to deliver this option to our city, enabling people to experience the beauty of fashion without the prices and the strain that continued production puts on the planet.
